Crisis Home beside providing residential care, general nursing care and medical attention, training, guidance and rehabilitation for the People Living with HIV, persons with disabilities and those who are chronically ill who have limited means and resources have been in this long battle with covid-19. In Malaysia we are still in this long battle with Covid 19 and endless LOCKDOWN. This has caused many to lose their source of incomes.
Last month 11 residents of Crisis Home was down with covid. (4 from the men’s home, 2 from the women n children home-based homes and 5 from the working/support group). It was frightening especially for them not only with HIV but other comorbidities as well, diabetics, Hepatitis C etc. Praise The Lord, with many prayers all have recovered well and without going through major illness or discomfort. It has been 1 month since the last infection at Crisis Home and all have been cleared from quarantine requirements.
